Meet the Springhill Team!
Chris Lang
Chris grew up on Springhill Dairy Farm. He oversees the day to day operations. When he is not on the farm you can find him judging across the country and world, showing cattle on various levels and spending time with family and friends.
DAN BASSE
Dan joined our team in 2018 and has a strong background in agriculture and grew up on Guernsey Grove Farm in Wisconsin. He is owner of AgResource Company and brings a wealth of knowledge to our operation.
Marshall Overholt-Farm Manager
Marshall oversees the day to day tasks of the employees and cattle. He has been working at Springhill since 2011. He is married to Kayla, son, Miles, and daughter McKenzie. When he is not on the farm he can be found spending time with family and friends, at a cattle show, fishing and hunting.

Kayla graduated with a degree in Agriculture Communications from The Ohio State University in 2018, and is married to Marshall. She has been apart of the farm team since 2015, doing various tasks over time. Currently she works on our marketing and social media, as well as current and future projects. kayla@springhilldairyfarm.com
Jason Mowry – Herdsman
Jason joined the Springhill team as a herdsman in January of 2022. Growing up on a family dairy farm in central PA, Jason has been actively involved with Ayrshire show cattle all of his life. Prior to coming to Springhill, he ran his own farm of Ayrshire dairy cattle and then served as herdsman on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. Jason’s interests include working with show cattle, showing his own, judging at cattle shows, and most of all, spending quality time with his wife, Holly, daughter, Millie, and son, Wyatt.
Bryce Birk
Bryce grew up on a small farm in Northern IN. When the cows were sold a small number were retained which are exhibited at local, state, and national shows. Bryce attended Purdue University and studied Animal Sciences. Before coming to Springhill, Bryce worked with his family on their row crop and forage operation, excavation, and traveled the show and sale circuit fitting cattle. Bryce enjoys playing euchre and listening to music at full volume.
Kendra Lang-Calf Feeder
Kendra was raised on Springhill Dairy Farm. She has been feeding calves from a young age. When Kendra isn’t feeding calves she enjoys hanging out with her dog Jazzy, doing cross stitch, puzzles and visiting Florida.
